Westpine had the opportunity to partner with Angel Flight West, an aviation non-profit that provides free medical air transportation to families in financial distress, in documenting AFW pilot Stephen Danz transporting a passenger in need of chemotherapy from Delano, CA, to Santa Monica, CA, in his Cessna 340.
Westpine accompanied Stephen on his 1,020th mission for AFW, which translates to $1,000,000+ of donated aviation fuel over the course of those missions. Given his great amount of involvement and philanthropy toward the organization, the marketing staff at Angel Flight West thought he would be an excellent choice for the project.
